VA Work Study
The VA Work Study Program is a great opportunity for military-connected students using VA educational benefits to gain experience while supporting their peers at UCCS. Under the VA Work Study program, the Veteran and Military Affairs employs military-affiliated students to work in our office to assist with benefits questions and processing, access to resources, and social support. The VA pays work studies State or Federal minimum wage (whichever is greater), tax-free. Students may work up to 25 hours per week around their class schedule.
Duties:
Customer service, benefits processing, outreach and other duties as assigned.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be receiving and actively using VA educational benefits
- Must be enrolled in classes at least ¾ time
